How well does the model perform?

Validated on 1.4M unseen UK companies with a strict forward time-split (trained on 2022-2023, tested on 2024). The model achieves 0.866 AUC. Companies in our top 1% risk band enter formal insolvency at 8.9% within 12 months, 12 times the UK base rate of 0.74%. The top 10% captures 53% of all UK formal insolvencies.
What data sources do you use?

Public Companies House records only. No insider information. We index every filing across 8.5M UK entities, 26M director appointments (resolved to 7.2M unique people), 18.3M iXBRL accounts and the full charges register going back to 1893.
Can I integrate Fulcrums with my own systems?

Yes. We expose a REST API at /v1/* covering company profiles, risk bands, sector benchmarks and the distress feed, with per-key rate limits and webhooks into Slack and Microsoft Teams.
